Beltane is located in Dulcote, which is a small village just outside of Wells. You can walk from Beltane, to Wells Cathedral and it should take no more than 20 - 25 minutes at a relaxed pace. The walk takes you through fields, although the path is made of tarmac. At the end of the path you will find the moat which surrounds the Bishop's palace. Although this is right next door to the Cathedral, it is an area which is often missed by visitors to Wells who do not venture under the archway which is located in Market Square. Our guest accommodation is spacious, we appreciate that in England, you might just need to spend a bit more time in your accommodation, when the weather is not warm and sunny. Both the 'annex' and the 'barn' and on the ground floor and benefit from their own private lounge area where you can sit in quiet comfort, reading or watching T.V. There is a fridge, hot drink making facilities, complimentary mineral water and a fridge which contains a non-profit-non-alcoholic mini bar. We include quality complimentary toiletries in our wet room (the annex) and bathroom (the barn). Breakfast is freshly cooked using eggs from our own free range hens. Other ingredients are organic and locally sourced where possible. A buffet of cereal, fruit and yoghurts are also available. We will cater for vegetarian or other dietary preference on request, in fact at Beltane, we aim to go just that little bit further to ensure that you thoroughly enjoy your stay, rain or shine.
