The Manor House B&B is an historical 15th century manor house standing in its own grounds and is set in a peaceful and secluded valley. The house is warm and comfortable with central heating, open log fires, antique furniture, coffee and tea making facilities. Guests are welcome to enjoy the beautiful walled garden. Delicious English country breakfast, using organic food from local farms. Ideally situated for the Bath & West Show Ground, Glastonbury, Wells, Wookey Hole and Cheddar Cave, or for visiting the many gardens in the area. Stabling for horses also available. | Local directions: | In the village of Pilton and opposite the Post Office turn into Totterdown Lane between the village stores and the Crown Inn. Proceed for about one mile keeping straight on at a cross roads and down the winding lane passing Burford House on the left. At the T junction in West Compton turn right and after 100 yards the road swings left signed to Wells. At this bend turn right down a small lane. The Manor House is immediately on the left with a white 5 barred gate and gravel drive. |
