The Lynch Country House B&B is set in the heart of lush Somerset countryside on the edge of the medieval market town of Somerton, the ancient capital of Wessex. The house is Grade II* listed and is surrounded by well tended grounds with many specimen trees and flowers. There is also a lake which is home to black swans, numerous exotic ducks and a variety of fish. The perfect base to explore famous gardens, stately homes and many other places of interest - Bath, Bristol, Cheddar, Dorchester, Glastonbury, Sherborne and Wells. Excellent places to eat locally within easy walking distance. All rooms are en-suite or private bathroom with flat screen colour TV and free Wi-Fi access. Recently upgraded with 5* new mattresses, goosedown and feather pillows and duvets and crisp Irish linen. Fantastic breakfasts cooked freshly to order.
