Shieldhall B&B is set in the heart of the Northumbrian Borders and nestles into rolling landscape overlooking the National Trust´s estate of Wallington. Once home to the family of Capability Brown, this 17th house has been charmingly restored, and lends itself well to being a country guest house. Every bedroom is furnished individually, and has its own entrance into the central courtyard. Dinners may be ordered in advance, and are served in a candlelit dining room. There are many heritage sites such as Hadrian´s Wall within easy driving distance of Shieldhall.
