Holyleas House B&B is a warm and friendly period country house and stands in lovely walled gardens. Buckland Newton is a peaceful village between Sherborne and Dorchester surrounded by rolling hills and only approximately half an hour from the coast. The area is superb for walking, visiting historic houses, and numerous gardens. Rooms are beautifully decorated with fine views. The guests´ sitting room has a log fire in winter where you can relax with a good book and breakfast is served in the elegant dining room, again with log fire in winter. Vegetarian diets catered for. There is a village pub within walking distance and several good pubs closeby for evening meals. ETC 5 Diamonds, Silver Award.
