Hillbrow House B&B is in a superb position with panoramic views over the Taw Valley and Dartmoor. The comfortable bedrooms have stunning views and have their own bathrooms. The High Bullen Golf Club is within walking distance and can provide swimming, tennis and golf. There is also a brasserie for lunch and an evening restaurant. Dartmoor and Exmoor are nearby and the Taw and Torridge rivers offer excellent fishing. There is very good surfing at Saunton Sands and Woolacombe. Rosemoor, a must for all garden lovers, is close by.

| Local directions: | From M5 Junction 27 take A361 to Barnstable. After 15 miles take B3227 to South Molton. Go through town, keep left and take B3226 for Crediton, continue 5 miles (passing Clapworthy Mill) when you reach a right turn for Chittlehamholt and High Bullen Hotel, continue up hill to T-junction, turn left, pass through Chittlehamholt and Hillbrow House is white house on right (if you reach High Bullen Country Club you have gone too far!). From South West take A30, turn on to A377 Exeter to Barnstable road passing through Copplestone and about 2 miles from Eggsford take B3226 to South Molton. Shortly after crossing bridge take turning for Chittlehamholt. Pass into village and Hillbrow House is white house on left just after turning to HIgh Bullen Country Club. |
