Hearthstone Farm is part of the following Travel Ideas:
"Friendly owners Ian, Joyce and Mandy are keen to ensure you enjoy your stay at Hearthstone, a working farm. Their cosy B&B is a peaceful place to relax and you are free to walk around the farm and meet the animals, including the horses. There’s lots to do locally; as well as excellent walking in the Dales or nearby Chatsworth Estate, there’s English Heritage-run Bolsover Castle where kids can learn about the region’s history through play by dressing up as a cavalier, and theme parks including Gulliver’s Kingdom and Alton Towers. At Carsington Water reservoir and activity centre the youngsters (and the young at heart) can try mountain biking (bike hire available), sailing, windsurfing or canoeing while those who prefer more peaceful pursuits could opt for fly fishing."
