Fir Trees is our Windermere guest house of considerable character and charm. It was built in 1888 as a Victorian gentleman's residence and the beautiful pitch pine staircase and doors are both original features. Breakfasts are special at Fir Trees, traditionally English in style and cooked to perfection. Lovely bedrooms, all furnished and decorated to a very high standard, with tea/coffee making facilities and TVs. We are within easy walking distance of the resort villages of Windermere and Bowness. Excellent touring base. Winter specials (Nov to Mar)- Stay for 3 nights Sun through to Fri morning - £155 per couple, B&B.
