Bosvathick is a Georgian house with substantial Victorian addition, which Kate's family built in 1760. Near the north bank of the Helford River, it's well situated for visiting some of the loveliest gardens and historic houses in Cornwall, and within easy reach of numerous creeks, estuaries and beaches. Hidden in the heart of the countryside, and with a long drive, it's wonderfully quiet. It's surrounded by 10 acres of garden, including its own 3/4 acre lake, home to breeding geese, duck and moorhen. The house is full of antique rugs and furniture, and guests breakfast surrounded by family portraits.
