Netherwood Lodge, is a delightful rural retreat close to the A22. Fantastic place to stay for visitors to Glyndebourne, National Trust, walking or coast. Delicious homemade fare has resulted in the Sussex Breakfast Award and breakfast is served in the family dining room overlooking the glorious garden, which is open with the National Garden Scheme to the public for charity. Both bedrooms are individual and elegant with fresh flowers, lamps and Egyptian cotton linen for comfort and luxury. Many extra touches. Excellent local pub within walking distance. Guests return to be welcomed and have booked early to be 10 minutes by car from Glynebourne. Local pub and church within walking distance.

Delightful hostess in a gorgeous house with a beautiful garden. Local pubs and restaurants for inexpensive home cooked food. The breakfast was delicious with home made bread and preserves.

A short but pleasant stay with a friendly welcome. Our room was quiet comfortable and well equipped. Delicious breakfast, only sorry we could not stay longer. Would stay here again if in the locality.

Another blissful stay. Beautiful quiet room overlooking well kept and pretty country gardens. Delicious tea and cake on arrival. Scrumptious breakfast. Lovely location and excellent value. I shall return!
