The Garden House is in Cheriton, an idyllic English village, where Harry and Sarah extend the warmest welcome to guests. The Garden House is beautifully decorated and furnished: a staircase, adorned by portraits of ancestors, leads to the comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms with views over the countryside or garden – where you can enjoy a game of tennis or croquet. Sarah is a Cordon Bleu cook and Harry enjoys helping guests best plan their stay. Dinner is by prior arrangement. | Local directions: | From centre of Cheriton take road marked 'Winchester' after 400 yds on right at end of high wall, and before Flower Pots Inn on left. Cheriton is best reached by A272, going from Winchester towards Petersfield, after approx 7 miles, turn left at Cheriton / Beauworth crossroads. Go exactly .7 mile and drive is on left just before start of high wall. From west London can alternatively come via A3 /A31 to Alresford then Cheriton, rather than M3. |
