Given its name, you'd expect the Old Causeway Bakery to serve up a decent loaf of bread and it certainly doesn't disappoint (homemade bread is served at breakfast and is quite delicious!) however where it really excels is in offering luxury accommodation in a lovely village setting. Found in the heart of Dorset's beautiful Blackmore Vale, it's the home of Sandra and Simon who, along with their two loveable dogs Henry and Bertie, provide two comfortable and charming double bedrooms decked out with flowers, bookcases and antiques. More leg room can be found in the guest sitting room, as well as an additional suite in the cosy Old Bakery Wing, a cottage attached to the main house. Enjoy the slower pace of life by waking up with an English breakfast, made with local produce, and take a stroll along scenic walking paths or plunge into local attractions around the glorious Jurassic coast.
