Stoney Bridge Luxury B&B

“Perfection!” 5 of 5 starsReviewed 2 days ago NEW This was the perfect B&B for myself and 2 university friends. Having a room each meant we had the whole place to ourselves. We enjoyed a cream tea in the garden when we arrived, and enjoyed lemon drizzle cake each afternoon when we got in! The breakfasts were excellent - lovely fresh fruit and an excellent choice of cooked 'stuff' including extra special vegetarian sausages. All the rooms are well appointed and every detail has been carefully thought through, with many special touches like the homemade biscuits on the trays in the bedrooms, and the coffee machine downstairs. Gill and Steve were great hosts - friendly and informative whilst giving us plenty of time to relax, catch up on news and 'put the world to rights'! And of course we loved Dixie! On our journey home we were planning a return visit and I am planning to return with my partner - says it all! An excellent long weekend in a great location! Stoney Bridge lived up to our expectations and more. The communication and information before we arrived for our weekend was great. Due to work commitments we didn't get there until late on the Friday evening, Gill & Steve had made us one of their delicious cold meat platters to enjoy in our room, which was fresh and tasty and just what we wanted after a long journey. Our bedroom was fabulous with the addition of a gorgeous little dressing room, complete with a radio-I so enjoyed my time getting ready during the weekend! Breakfast at Stoney Bridge was exceptional, taken in a relaxing environment with gentle background music. The breakfast menu itself was a great, with a choice of locally produced sausages, bacon & eggs but our favourite was the fresh and tasty Avocado, fresh tomato and poached egg on tasty, brown, bread-exceptional! Stoney bridge is a superb B&B and complete with Gill & Steve's attention to detail.......second to none!! We will definitely be returning on our next visit to Tenby! Gill and Steve have thought of everything! We stayed in The Terns which was extremely comfortable with its 6ft bed but all the rooms look lovely so we might choose a different one next time! The Guest Lounge is also great with coffee and home made cake provided and access to the attractive garden with sunsets to complete your day if you are lucky! The breakfast with its locally sourced food was delicious and we were only there 2 nights which wasn't nearly enough to try all the choices but the avocado and tomato on toast with a poached egg on top was particularly good! They also offer tasty meat and cheese platters in the evening if you fancy a night in! The area has a lot to offer and we will definitely be going back in the summer months next year although we were lucky to have very sunny September weather on this occasion. Steve and Gill are delightful hosts and we are sure anyone who chooses to stay here will be totally satisfied!

From the moment we arrived at this lovely place, we felt completely relaxed and at home. Steve and Gill were so warm and friendly and had thought of everything to make our stay perfect. So many little extra touches like the homemade biscuits, bottles of water & chocolates in the fridge, fluffy bathrobes & toiletries - the list goes on! We particularly appreciated the use of the guest lounge, the Nespresso machine & Steve's delicious scones and cakes. (Mary Berry would approve!) The breakfasts were delicious, perfectly presented and served with a smile & a chat with Gill. The bedrooms were a delight - so tastefully decorated, spotless, with a huge comfy bed & a great walk - in shower. We got lots of advice on places to visit plus directions from our hosts and had a wonderful week in this glorious Pembrokeshire area. Nothing can beat this Luxury B&B, from the warm hospitality offered by the Host - Steve and Gill, to the breakfast and the place itself are just awesome. I can say it is even better than staying at The Four Seasons per say. If you plan to visit Tenby, this is a must stay. The room is beautifully furnished - we stayed in the Oyster catcher (with balcony) for 2 nights. The bedding is extremely comfortable. The omelette at breakfast is simply amazing. So as the cake for afternoon tea. The bathroom is gorgeous and huge. No wonder it's called "luxury" B&B. We will definitely stay there again next time we visit Tenby. It was beyond our expectations, from the moment we arrived we received a warm welcome from Gill & Steve. The bedrooms are very luxurious, light & airy with lots of attention to detail. The bed was super comfy with plump pillows and quality bedding. Guests also have access to a lovely separate lounge area to relax in. This luxury b&b made our trip to Saunderfoot & Tenby very memorable and I would like to say a big thankyou!! :) We look forward to returning again some day soon. Laura & Lee. Great location. Rooms very spacious and decor to a high standard. Breakfast was a great delight with plenty of healthy, nutritious options, cooked to a very good restaurant standard. Hosts very welcoming and always happy to help. All in all a very comfortable stay - Home from Home!

Fabulous boutique luxury B&B. Stylish, comfortable, clean and spacious with some lovely luxury touches. Fantastic breakfasts. Great lounge to relax in and also garden weather permitting. All so beautifully done and with great thought. Wonderful hosts. Perfection!
