The house at Harrington Gardens was built by the Petro Brother in 1891 as one family home and it was later changed into apartments. Accommodation comprises a pretty double room with an ensuite bathroom and a power shower over the bath. This accommodation is on the garden level of a lovely apartment in South Kensington and breakfast is served in the conservatory/dining room looking over the rolling lawns of a private London garden square... where you can take a stroll. There are many fashionable restaurants and pubs within walking distance of the host home, as are Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. There is excellent shopping in Kensington High Street and Knightsbridge. You are also very close to three of the most renowned museums in London, the Victoria and Albert, the Natural History and Science museums. For the intrepid traveller an ice skating rink together with a Christmas market is a feature of the Natural History museum in the winter. Parking on metres.
