Shortgrove is a Grade two listed Elizabethan timber framed house with gardens and grounds of three and a half acres on a gated common, in absolute peace and quiet. The whole house is exceptional inside and out with every comfort to make a stay here memorable. Food is to an extremely high standard, Beryl is a cookery tutor. Nearby are castles, National Trust houses, antiques shops, Hereford with its Cathedral and mappa Mundi, beautiful Ludlow, black and white villages, Hay on Wye for book buffs, Mortimer Forest for walking and riding. Excellent local pubs for evening meals.
