Wilton House is a classic English town house with a documented history that pre-dates 1470. An early 18th century facade now conceals its medieval origins. It is described by Pevsner as `the most ambitious house in Hungerford`. The two en-suite double bedrooms and the dining room are in the elegant 18th century part of the house which has wood panelling, open fireplaces and many other period features. A wholesome English breakfast with local farm and home-grown organic produce is served. Wilton House offers the very highest standard of accommodation and comfort in an historic house.
