Devonshire House B&B is a lovely 1880 Victorian house which is family owned and run. Each comfortable bedroom is en-suite with TV and hot drink facilities. A hearty, home cooked breakfast and buffet is provided in the dining room which was originally a Victorian grocers. Secure parking is available in the pretty walled courtyard and the city is only a 15 minute walk away. Also available is a beautiful self-catering cottage on site which can sleep up to four. Follow the road out of the station which will take you onto Dorchester Street, keep in left hand lane and go onto bridge in the right hand lane over the river. Stay in right hand lane and go under the railway bridge to the right. Take the SECOND left A367 Wells Road, Shepton Mallet. Follow this road up the hill, passing ´Bear Pub´ on the right, leading onto the Wellsway. Devonshire House is on the left next to The Devonshire Arms Pub. Park on street if there are spaces and unload. |
