Cambridge Street B&B

Cambridge Street B&B is situated in a quiet residential street in Westminster, a white stucco fronted Victorian house built in the mid 1880´s by the eminent architect/builder Thomas Cubitt. Well known people who have lived in this street in the past include Aubrey Beardsley, the illustrator, Laura Ashley, the designer and Barbara Pym, the writer. The house has been modernised in a traditional manner and the host occupies a lovely penthouse arranged over two floors. The guest accommodation comprises a double room, nicely but simply decorated with a TV, and an adjacent bathroom; and guests may use the roof terrace next to their room - weather permitting. There is quick access to Victoria, Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament, and to the Tate Britain art gallery. Fast internet access available.
