Balloch lies at the south end of Loch Lomond and has a huge number of boats moored which are used on the loch. There is also a fleet of passenger boats which operate from here providing daily cruises, plus seaplanes which start from Balloch pier. The Loch Lomond Shores is a shopping centre on the shore of the loch and is a popular place for visitors. The nearby country park is some 200 acres and has woodland, gardens and many pathways to explore.
