The New Forest Wildlife Park: Enjoy a wildlife adventure in this lovely park, set in 25 acres of unspoilt woodland in the lovely New Forest. Get up close to the Sika, fallow and roe deer that roam freely throughout the park and watch the excitable otters squeaking and squealing at feeding time. There are many amazing animals to see, from several species of owls and otters to wolves, bison, wild boar, red deer, muntjac deer, Scottish wildcats, lynx, wallabies, water voles, adders, foxes, polecats, pine martens and ferrets. Children will love the harvest mice scurrying around their mini home and the new “Go Wild” Adventure Playground is now open.

Ten Places for a Perfect Weekend in Hampshire by Natalie French

"Hang out... Covering 25 scenic acres, the New Forest Wildlife Park is a great family day out. The park boasts 12 species of owl, a European wolf enclosure, enormous bison and many indigenous species, such as the highly endangered Scottish Wildcat - you can also pet the surprisingly chilled free-roaming deer. Four species of otter call this place home, including the largest and rarest of all, a pair of playful endangered Amazonian Giant Otters (Akuri & Simuni)."
