Sandown Park Racecourse

Many rate the Surrey racecourse their favourite, and it is easy to see why. Racing is high-class, and a good mix of Flat and National Hunt, including on the same card at some meetings, which means there is something for everyone. Viewing is excellent, as are the facilities, while you can see all you want to see at the secluded pre-parade ring if you want to avoid the crowds around the main paddock. Transport links are great too, as there is a mainline (from London) railway station a pleasant ten minutes stroll across the centre of the course, and the A3/M25 is close at hand. Then there’s chic Esher high street just down the road – what’s not to like?
