Morwellham Heritage Centre: The greatest copper port in Queen Victoria´s empire lies 23 miles inland. The Tamar ketch ´Garlandstone´ is moored at the quay; original cottages, shops and hostelry. 1860s costumed staff welcome visitors and host guided tours. Explore one of the copper mines travelling by tram deep underground. In grounds extending to 200 acres enjoy the wildlife reserve and a visit to our working, historic farm.
