The National SEA LIFE Centre Birmingham transports visitors into the amazing underwater world showcasing the best of everything from the coast of Britain, to the Antarctic and the Caribbean. Prepare for astonishingly close views of everything from humble starfish to graceful rays and tropical sharks in the UK’s only underwater 360° ocean tunnel. You will have the chance to get hands on at our interactive rockpool and come face to face with our colony of cheeky Gentoo Penguins! Watch them swim, slide and socialise in their 70,000 litre home.
With over 60 displays and more than 2,000 sea creatures, the aquarium is the perfect stop for family fun!

So grab your crew and jump aboard for a swashbuckling adventure as you explore some of the most fearsome scoundrels of the seven seas in our 'SCARIUM'!
Lads and lasses are encouraged to come dressed in pirate garb. AHOY!

We're hosting an ‘Otter Week’ with lots of fund raising activities to raise cash for an otter conservation project with the Canal and River Trust. Events will include Otter talks, badge making and activity packs to raise awareness of the project that aims to encourage more shy and elusive otters to make their homes along the canals in the West Midlands. We have many Otter themed activities!
