Belfast Zoo
Situated in the North of the City, Belfast Zoo is an established tourist destination set against the beautiful backdrop of Cave Hill. It boasts panoramic views of the City with views as far as Scotland on a clear day. With over 55 acres, the design of the Zoo supports a natural woodland experience that homes over 1200 animals in award-winning enclosures and habitats. New exhibits for 2007 include the Rainforst House where you can experience an immersive environment combining tropical plants with climatic sensitive animals such as Jasmine the two toed Sloth.
