Llangollen Railway
Llangollen Railway is largely volunteer-operated with restoration work of the tracks being an ongoing event over the years. Now it is possible to see some outstanding Welsh scenery not normally seen from the A5 road, particularly along the seven and a half mile long Dee Valley route. Trains operate most weekends of the year and daily from June to October, using steam-hauled and diesel locos or railcars.
