One of the world’s most visited eco-centres, CAT features hands-on displays and practical examples of sustainable living, renewable energy and organic gardening. A not to be missed attraction.
While you’re here, enjoy a delicious meal in our wholefood restaurant and get some inspiration in our green bookshop. CAT is a great place for children too, keeping little hands and feet busy for hours.

Opening Times: All year, Daily except 23-28 Dec & 4-10 Jan 2011. Cliff railway operates 1 Apr to 31 Oct.
Admission: Easter to Oct, Adult £8.50, Child £4.00, Under 5´s Free, Concession £7.50. Nov to Easter, Adult £6.50, Child £4.00, Under 5´s Free, Concession £5.50.
Child Friendly:  Children of all ages welcome
Dog Friendly: No
Location: 3 miles to the Centre for Alternative Technology from Machynlleth on the A487.
