Caldey Island


Caldey Island is reached by a pleasant boat trip from Tenby Harbour. Inhabited since the stone age and home to various orders of monks since the Celtic times, now owned by monks from the Cistercian Order. Visitors can explore the island´s heritage or attend one of the short chanted services in the Abbey Church. Take a stroll up to the lighthouse and enjoy panoramic views of the Pembrokeshire Coast, Tenby, the Preseli Hills, the Gower Peninsula and Lundy Island.
