Strathspey Railway

The Strathspey Railway aims to offer the visitor an experience of a Railway of the 1950s to 1960s period. Why not take a trip on the train to re-capture the nostalgia of this era. On leaving Aviemore, relax, enjoy the heather moorland and the Cairngorm Mountain range from the carriage window; scenes almost unchanged in a hundred years. Arrive at Boat of Garten, a village created by the coming of the old railway companies that served the area.
