Salisbury Cathedral

Salisbury Cathedral: In 2008, Britain´s finest 13th century gothic Cathedral is celebrating the 750th anniversary of the dedication of the completed Cathedral in 1258. There will be a variety of exciting events to celebrate this occasion. (see Events section). Inside the cathedral discover the best preserved original Magna Carta (AD1215), and the oldest working clock (AD 1386) in Europe. Boy and girl choristers sing daily services continuing a tradition of worship that dates back centuries. Take a tower tour to explore Britain´s tallest Spire and experience the breathtaking views down the length of the Nave from above, and out across Salisbury (booking recommended).
