Unforgettable family days out since 1963 Come and see wild animals from across the world at Twycross Zoo, the centre for conservation, education and family fun. With 50 acres of parkland and over 1000 animals. Coming Easter 2010 is the New Visitor Welcome Centre “Himalaya” a 300 seater diner looking out on to a Himalayan snow leopard experience. The centre will also include a 100 seater delegate conference room with exclusive views of wading birds. Summer 2010 will see the opening of the new Elephant Walkway, an Asian-themed trail and bridge over the elephants’ bathing pool.
