Glastonbury Abbey

Glastonbury Abbey attracts visitors from all over the world. The magical ruins, of this once greatest Abbey in England, are set in 36 acres of peaceful Somerset parkland. 2000 years of history and mystery can be found here - legend has it that King Arthur is buried here! From March to October, history is brought to life by our costumed guides who will tell you tales of the past and about the monks who live here. In winter and spring, the park is adorned with thousands of snowdrops, crocus, daffodils and bluebells; in autumn spectacular colour on our hundreds of trees.
