The beautiful ruins of Glastonbury Abbey attracts visitors from all over the world, join them and step through time with our wide range of events.
From March to October, immerse yourself in the sights, sounds and smells of medieval living, when the Abbey’s fascinating 2000 year history is brought to life by knowledgeable living history guides, who lead you through the magical ruins, sharing colourful stories and ancient insights. They tell of Glastonbury’s reputation as the richest monastery in England and reveal its fascinating connection with the legendary King Arthur.
Visit the latest exhibition in our museum or explore the grounds, discover the wildlife and bring a picnic to make the most of our delightful setting, and as well as the family, why not bring the dog!

Opening Times: All year ex 25 Dec, Daily. Dec-Feb 09:00-16:00, Mar-May 09:00-18:00, Jun-Aug 09:00-21:00, Sep-Nov 09:00-17:00. Last admission half an hour prior to closing.
Admission: Adult £7.00*, Child (5-15) £4.00, OAP/Student £6.00*, Family £18.00*. *Gift Aid Admission
Child Friendly:  Children of all ages welcome
Dog Friendly: Dogs Permitted (Dogs on a lead welcome)
Location: Central Glastonbury, next to Town Hall.
