Cotswold Wildlife Park & Gardens


Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens is set in 160 acres of landscaped parkland and is home to a fascinating collection of birds, mammals, reptiles and invertebrates from around the world; many very rare and endangered. Newly opened is the Madagascar walk-through enclosure with free-roaming lemurs and enclosures for the Lac Alaotran Gentle lemur and Verreaux´s Crowned Sifaka both critically endangered in the wild. Baby Morelet´s crocodiles can be seen in the Reptile House, these babies are the only ones to be bred in the UK. The gardens are a delight with a mixture od exotic planting, herbaceous borders and inspirational container plantinf.

Location: Two miles south of Burford on the A361. Burford is mid way between Oxford and Cheltenham on the A40.
