Blenheim Palace
Blenheim Palace, home of the Duke and Duchess of Marlborough and birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, was built between 1705 and 1722. It is an English Baroque masterpiece, with a collection including tapestries, paintings, sculptures and fine furniture displayed in magnificent gilded state rooms. This is a World Heritage site reflecting the importance of both the house and the 2100 acre park, landscaped by `Capability´ Brown. There is a permanent visitor experience ´Blenheim Palace: The Untold Story´ available inside the Palace.
