Blenheim Palace
Blenheim Palace, home of the 11th Duke of Marlborough and birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, was built between 1705 and 1722. It is an English Baroque masterpiece, with a collection including tapestries, paintings, sculptures and fine furniture displayed in magnificent gilded state rooms. This is a World Heritage site reflecting the importance of both the house and the 2100 acre park, landscaped by `Capability´ Brown. There is a permanent visitor experience ´Blenheim Palace: The Untold Story´ available inside the Palace.
