Pensthorpe Nature

Pensthorpe Nature offers numerous reasons for countryside and wildlife lovers to visit, being situated in the heart of Norfolk amongst perhaps some of the most picturesque landscape in England. The reserve is well-known for being the location of popular TV show Springwatch, in 2009, felt to be ideal because of the range of bird and animal life that can be witnessed. Penthorpe Nature staff and wardens take an active role in conservation, with a number of rare bird species, as well as a breeding population of red squirrels. Some events for visitors to enjoy include guided tours that take in the reserve's wildflower meadows, forest habitat and an award-winning selection of gardens.
