The Poppy Line (M&GN Joint Railway Society and NNR)
The Poppy Line runs from the Victorian resort of Sheringham along the coast to Weybourne and up through the heathland to the Georgian town of Holt. Superb views of coast and country. Full-size mainline steam engines, 3 superbly restored stations, William Marriott Museum at Holt station, railway carriage home at Holt station, refreshments at all stations, picnic area, giftshop and buffet at Sheringham station. Steam trains most days April to end-October. Special events through the summer. Lunch and evening dinner trains. Make a day of it! The all-day hop-on, hop-off Rover ticket means you can ride as often as you like, explore the stations and the surrounding countryside. Cycles and dogs carried.
