The wonderful art of glassblowing is revealed at Langham Glass in the north Norfolk town of Fakenham. Master Glassmaker Paul Miller has built the business up since 1979 and today you can learn how to blow anything from an old fashioned whiskey glass to a simply glass bubble under the expert tutelage of the staff at this lovely little attraction. Watch the team of glassmakers using traditional century old techniques to create elegant handmade crystal and then pop into the shop where not only Langham glassware but a whole range of other British-made goods are on sale, including Portmeirion, Joules, Norfolk Lavender and Moorcroft. After all that, have a homemade cake and a cuppa or a nice hot lunch in the centre’s restaurant.
