Tropical Bird Gardens (Leics) Ltd

The Tropical Bird Gardens are situated in approx. 5 acres of land. Home to several hundred tropical birds of over 70 species. There are large aviaries with many exotic species such as parakeets, toucans, emus and mynah birds. Many of the birds are tame and will be keen to join you whilst you enjoy a drink in the part sheltered open-air area. A great afternoon out for all the family.

Location:	From M1 get off at junction 22, on the roundabout take the A50 signed towards Markfield. We have brown Tourism signs thereafter. From the M69 go to the end. Then take M1 North, get off at junction 21a follow signs to Kirby Muxloe.Before you reach Kirby Muxloe you will see signs to Desford. In Desford, turn right down Main Street, follow the sharp bend left, then turn right again down Lindridge Lane towards Merrylees. You will soon see the entrance to Tropical Birdland on the left. Alternatively, once you are near,you should be able to pick up and follow brown tourism signs to direct you to Tropical Birdland.
