Hereford Cathedral, the Mappa Mundi and Chained Library Exhibition is famous for housing both the spectacular medieval map of the world and the cathedral´s unique Chained Library, the largest in existence. The Mappa Mundi reveals how 13th century scholars interpreted the world in spiritual and geogrphical terms. Here the stories of these national treasurers are told through models, original artefacts and the latest interactive computer technology.
