Welcome to the Sea Life Centre - a network of marine life aquariums stretching across much of Europe, with UK centres in Brighton, Blackpool, Birmingham, Scarborough, Great Yarmouth and Weymouth. The Sea Life network has long championed the cause of marine conservation and care of our precious seas and oceans. Since 2001 all of Sea Life´s conservation, rescue and campaigning work has come under the umbrella of the unique SOS scheme... .an acronym for Save Our Seas. In 2008 we saw Weymouth SEA LIFE open its doors to Adventure Island; a fantasy land with four amazing rides - a drop ride, tugboat, pirate ship, and seal themed roundabout. A great place for any young explorer. From May 2009 Weymouth SEA LIFE Park launches its new feature - Crocodile Creek! 'Embark on a safari style log flume adventure and come face to face with crocodiles'! At Easter 2009, The Turtle Sanctuary welcomes 100 new baby turtle residents. Each are about the size of a 50 pence piece and were destined for the UK pet trade, but were confiscated by Customs officers.
