A hugely impressive educational attraction, the National Marine Aquarium is also bags of fun. Who can resist the 4D cinema screening of Deepo’s Undersea Wondershow where water is splashed at you and bubbles appear all around you as you watch? Or the impressive Atlantic Ocean tank featuring a life size replica of a World War II seaplane in which hundreds of underwater creatures nestle. And then there are the fascinating shark talks at 11am and 3pm each day which bust some of the myths about the species. As well as all the regular stuff you expect to find at an aquarium, this Plymouth landmark goes the extra mile to entertain and explain, with an ever changing rosta of exhibits and shows. Dive in.

Admission: Adult £11.00, Child (5-16) £6.50, Child Uner 5 Free, Senior/Student £9.00, Family (2+2) £30.00. Group rates available.
Location: In the Coxside area of Plymouth.
