Devon Guild of Craftsmen

The Devon Guild of Craftsmen is the South West's largest contemporary craft centre. The Guild houses a spacious Gallery, large craft shop and The Terrace Cafe with rooftop seating - all housed in the Grade II Riverside Mill overlooking Dartmoor. There is a varied programme of exciting exhibitions and events throughout the year, featuring a wide range of craft, design and applied arts including metalwork, print, mixed media, textiles, sculpture, jewellery, photography and digital work. The Guild is also an educational charity and aims to enhance understanding of craft and design methods and creative activity to all learners with its outreach programme and in-house workshops and talks. The Craft Centre has a South West membership and displays and sells work by over 240 designer/makers many of which have national and international reputations.
