Denby Visitor Centre

Denby Visitor Centre in an attractive rural location set around a courtyard next to the pottery. Shops include Home Store, factory shop with bargains on seconds, gift shop, garden & cookery emporia and Dartington Crystal. Pottery tours with `paint a plate´ and `make a frog´ souvenirs. All tours at Denby are led by experienced Tour Guides who will take you round and explain how the pottery is made. There are two Pottery Tours to choose from; both include a video presentation, and the opportunity to have fun! There are also Free Cookery Demonstrations, special events, play area, restaurant and museum.

Pottery Beach opens daily at Denby from 15th July. Enjoy the safe golden sand and the atmosphere of a traditional English beach. Relax on a stripey deckchair and nip to the beach huts for snacks, beach items or to enjoy craft activities. Children's entertainment on selected dates in August. Suitable for all ages and free to use.

Watch a special demonstration by TV Chef James Martin in our Event Marquee in the grounds of Denby Visitor Centre. Demonstrations last around an hour and will be followed by book signing sessions for ticket holders. Entry is by ticket only - on sale from mid July.
