Tintagel Castle


Tintagel Castle is located on one of England´s most dramatic coastlines, the 13th century remains of the Castle are breathtaking and awe-inspiring. The stout walls, steep stone steps encircle the Great Hall, where Richard, Earl of Cornwall once feasted. Long before the castle was built, Tintagel was associated with the legend of King Arthur and today there are still so many unanswered questions and legends surrounding this historic site.

Location: On Tintagel Head, no vehicles permitted on the half a mile uneven track from Tintagel.
