The National Seal Sanctuary


The National Seal Sanctuary is a rescue, rehabilitation and release centre for seals. With Nursery pools, Convalescence and Resident pools, and a specially designed Hospital. Most seals are released back into the wild but some, for various reasons are now resident guests at the Sanctuary. See a variety of other animals too such as Otters, Ponies and Goats.

Opening Times: All year ex 25 Dec, Daily from 10:00. Please check with the centre for closing times.
Admission: Please contact 01326 221361 for up to date admission charges.
Location: From Helston, head for RNAS Culdrose on the A3083 (signposted Lizard), continue to the roundabout then turn left, St Keverne. Half a mile on turn left and follow the signposts to Gweek. At Gweek village turn right before the Gweek Inn pub and follow the signs to the Seal Sanctuary.
