Jane Austen Centre
Jane Austen is perhaps the best known and best loved of Bath´s many famous residents and visitors. The Centre is a new permanent exhibition, which tells the story of Jane´s Bath experience and has been created with the guidance of local members of the Jane Austen Society and authorities on Jane Austen. It aims to not only be informative, but exciting and illuminating. With knowledgeable staff, books and leaflets available, it makes the perfect starting point to an exploration of Jane Austen´s Bath. Gay Street is the ideal location for the Jane Austen Centre, set between two of Bath´s architectural masterpieces, Queen Square and the Circus.
