Shakespeare´s Globe Exhibition explores the life and works of our greatest playwright, the London where he lived, and the theatre for which he wrote. The Exhibition is the largest of its kind devoted to Shakespeare and is situated beneath the stunning Globe Theatre itself. Throughout the year, a fascinating guided tour of the Theatre is included in your visit to the exhibition. During the theatre season tours are taken to the nearby excavations of Bankside´s first theatre - the Rose - the space for which Christopher Marlowe and Ben Jonson wrote their greatest plays and in which Shakespeare learnt his trade.

Review of Shakespeare´s Globe Exhibition
Posted on by Linda GreenwoodType of travel: Family
This is a fabulous place to visit for loads of reasons. So many films and TV programmes have taken place here. That's before you even think about the history of this building itself and the one it is based on. Fantastic to turn back time and get a real feel for Shakespearean times.
